Nevada Supreme Court rejects Halverson argument on term limit
Suspended District Court Judge Elizabeth Halverson's contention that she should be allowed to skip the upcoming election and run again in 2012 was rejected by the Nevada Supreme Court Thursday. Halverson was elected to a two-year term in 2006 but argued before the Nevada Supreme Court in June that it's unconstitutional to limit her term because judges typically serve six years.
